Judy Frantz
Judy has been the number one agent at John Stewart Walker many times in her 16 years of experience in residential, new construction and executive relocation at John Stewart Walker. Her company, John Stewart Walker, Inc. is the oldest and best established real estate firm in the area with over 40 agents. Judy was TOP PRODUCING AGENT as well as TOP SELLING AGENT for 2010. She currently holds a license in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors and the Lynchburg Association of Realtors. Judy's accreditations include ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist.
Judy is a native Virginian, born in Fairfax, Virginia. Before moving to Lynchburg, Judy worked as an ICU Nurse, then obtained a Masters Degree from Boston College. She worked as a nurse practitioner and co-managed a neighborhood health clinic in Cambridge, Massachusetts, then managed a neighborhood health clinic in Madison, Wisconsin. After relocating numerous times across the Northeast and Midwest, Judy settled in Lynchburg 22 years ago with her husband and two girls who have attended private and public schools in the city. She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, volunteers for the City Community Development Department working on the Ten Year plan for Land Use. Judy also serves on the Friends of the Academy of Fine Arts Center and is on the Cornerstone Campaign Committee. Judy is an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church where she has chaired Junior and Senior Youth Group and mission work for those students.
In her spare time Judy is interested in downtown development, historic neighborhoods, new home construction, home renovation and gardening, which is her passion! In addition Judy has served as a member of the Junior League in Lynchburg, where she was Active of the Year and a Habitat for Humanity Chair. Judy was Co-editor of the Outreach magazine for the Junior League of St. Louis. She has been president of the Cottage Garden Club, is currently active in the Boxwood Garden Club, an affiliate with the Garden Club of Virginia. Judy previously served on PTA committees for James River Day School, Linkhorne Middle School and EC. Glass High School and is a member of the Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation.
